We advocate for policies that protect and empower low-income immigrants and communities of color.

Policy Advocacy

We protect and empower

In city halls, state capitals, and Congress, we advocate alongside immigrant communities and working people.

We draft legislation, participate in and lead coalitions, and urge our elected representatives to fight for our communities’ and clients’ needs and aspirations. We work to ensure the voices of Asian, Arab, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, and immigrant working people, tenants, and communities are shaping local, state, and national policymaking.

Our policy advocacy is aimed at reuniting families, creating safe and affordable housing, expanding protections so that everyone can be safe and respected at work, and making the promise of democracy real.
