Philip Van has been helping to provide legal services to San Francisco’s Asian community for three decades.  He started his service with the San Francisco Neighborhood Legal Assistance Foundation in 1981.   In 1989  he began volunteering as a coordinator and interpretor at the Asian American Bar Association’s legal clinic.  In October of 1995 he moved to the Asian Law Caucus and has been helping coordinate legal services for our low income community members ever since.  He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Vietnamese.
