Christina Dang – Community Advocate

Christina Dang is the Community Advocate for the Housing and Elderly Law Program at the Asian Law Caucus.  Christina is a San Franciscan native who graduated from the University of California, Davis and obtained the degree in Community and Regional Development.  She is very interested in and passionate about the work in the housing field, and interned at the San Francisco Housing Development Corporation for three years as an Assistant Project Developer.

Christina joined Public Allies in 2009 and as a second year ally in 2010, feels very fortunate to be working at the Asian Law Caucus doing what she is passionate about.  She has done a lot of affordable housing project development and also organized community members in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood to create a community garden on Third Street last year.  Christina has also studied public housing, affordable housing, single room occupancy and cooperative housing during her college career.  Lastly, she has done community service work in different communities throughout her academic years that led her to her interest in housing policy and law.
