Annie Banh – Community Advocate

Annie Banh is the Community Advocate for the Employment and Worker’s Rights program at the Asian Law Caucus. She provides legal assistance to low-income LEP workers on various employment issues including wrongful termination, employment discrimination, workplace safety, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, wage and hour issues, and retaliation. She handles several direct service cases on administrative wage and hour claims and unemployment insurance appeals hearings. When possible, Annie also works on “Know Your Rights” trainings and materials regarding workers’ rights.  Annie is bilingual in English and Cantonese. She understands Mandarin and Vietnamese.

Annie was born and raised in San Francisco. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in Communications. She first came to the Asian Law Caucus as an intern and soon found herself inseparable from this amazing organization. She is currently a part of the 2011-2012 Public Allies program and feels very blessed to be placed at the Asian Law Caucus.
