Our Stories, Our Voices
As the nation’s first legal and civil rights organization serving low-income, immigrant and underserved Asian Pacific American communities, the history of the Asian Law Caucus is filled with thousands of powerful stories that illuminate the struggles of our community. “Our Stories, Our Voices” is an organizational effort to demonstrate the important community work that the Asian Law Caucus engages in on a daily basis and why it is important to support organizations like ours. These intimate client stories will take the larger issues of the Asian American community that are oftentimes blurred by politics and media, and finally put them into the perspective where they belong – in their own words and voices. Whether it be your education, home, religious and political beliefs, citizenship, worker’s rights, or a legacy, it is the hope of the Asian Law Caucus that “Our Stories, Our Voices” will empower our community to continue to carry out our organization’s mission: to promote, advance and represent the legal and civil rights our of the Asian Pacific American community.
